The chips were fresh, delicious, generously portioned, and served promptly. It’s clear that quality and customer satisfaction are a priority here. Overall, Packsaddle Roadhouse delivers a true 5-star experience with excellent facilities, outstanding service, and fantastic food. I would highly recommend it to anyone travelling through the area and will definitely be stopping by again.”
“This was our outback stop after a full day of dusty driving before we did the dodge a roo dusk drive to Broken Hill. A couple of cold beers and the best chilli parma I've ever had amongst the amazing surroundings of this iconic hotel made us very happy and ready to tackle the road again. The staff were great to chat to and made you feel very welcome and the cat is super cute n chill!! An absolute oasis!!”
“Good overnight stop. Free camping but Only $5 pp if you want to use the showers (very clean and lots of hot water). $35 for powered site. Cold beers and friendly staff”
“Wonderful late lunch stop. 5 stars all the way. Thank you soooooo much Jessie & Glenn. Loved everything, especially your hospitality.”
“Must stop at this place super friendly staff clean toilets great food and reasonably priced”
“Today we drove from Broken Hill to Packsaddle just for the steak sandwiches! And they didn't disappoint us. This place is a must visit for anyone driving past or anyone who can alter their track to drive that way. The roadhouse is decorated appropriately for a place called packsaddle, with old leather bits and pieces, nicely displayed to provide an interesting outback country vibe. There was a huge fireplace inside providing warmth on a wintery day. The service is friendly and helpful. The steak sandwich worth a drive from anywhere. The facilities are clean and tidy and the rooms (while we didn't stay) look clean and inviting for an overnight. Very interesting drive from Broken Hill as well. I highly recommend.”
